Dear colleagues, respected scientists, APOCP affiliates
As the 8th APOCP Regional conference days is coming and getting close, I would like to brief you of the achievements have been made
We had 250 quality abstracts from almost all countries of the region (interestingly few from countries outside of region as far as South Africa and Mexico). After several scientific committee meetings it was decided to organize submissions into the following nine modules
Cancer control program achievements and challengesCancer risk factors and etiologyCancer registry and cancer dataCancer screening and early detection,Cancer genetics and gene polymorphisms, in cancer control programCarcinogen exposure and surveillance in cancer control programPathology and Molecular diagnosis in cancer control programSocial aspect of cancer control programPalliative Care and administrative aspect of cancer patients
Out of 250 abstract 90 abstracts was assigned as oral presentations and divided into two Halls, and spread in 18 sessions (the agenda for the main Hall is attached). The three days conference includes three poster sessions that will accommodate 110 posters in different modules
Visa processing of foreign guests has been smoothly going on and more than 90% of our foreign guests visa has been processed (a visa confirmation number obtained and sent to prospect guest). The remaining is in the process and will be prepared soon
Colleague who are coming from outside country, will be greeted in Airport and the following page has been set up to collect arrival information (in case you have not registered your arrival info please do it as soon as possible)
Accommodation for all guests has been arranged at Parsian Hotel Complex (www.azadihotel.com) and a special promotional rates has been granted for conference guests
